The varifocal c-mount lens zooms to a wide 3.5mm, giving a significantly wider view than many similarly-priced cameras. Because it doesn't have an IR illuminator, I don't have to worry about it reflecting light back to the camera at night. I purchased this camera specifically to shoot through a store window as part of a video surveillance system intended to stop vandalism. And because it's a standard c-mount lens mount, you can choose from literally hundreds of specialized lenses for this camera -- a feature not usually available on such an inexpensive camera. This is an indoor-only camera, and has no weather protection features. It works great, and is amazingly full-featured, for the price. The color and resolution is great, and the camera performs well both in daylight and at night. As a bonus, it also includes an audio microphone, although I haven't connected it for my application, so I can't comment on the audio quality.Note that this is an indoor-only camera -- if you need to mount a camera outdoors in the elements, you either need to purchase a housing, or select a different camera that has weatherproofing features designed for outdoor use.All in all, an amazingly good camera for such a low price.
Q-See QPSCDCA Professional Indoor CCD Camera w/Audio (Color)very nice camera much smaller then i thought it would be by looking at the picture,it has a good tight camera mount very sharp and clear color picture that you can adjust with the 3.5 to 8 mm lens for close or far, it doesnt have a realy wide angle lens as i hoped it would have but its close to what i was looking for,it has audio which is nice, the camera is good enought for makeing home movies if you wanted to,does pretty good in low light.it is a indoor cam for dry areas.comes with a 60 ft power/video/audio cable, power supply that comes with it looks cheap, but the camera has a aluminum main body and seems to be high quality over all.
